Japanese boxing star Kazuto Ioka is set for a high-stakes rematch against Argentina’s WBA junior bantamweight champion Fernando Martinez on December 31. The 12-round bout will take place at Tokyo's Ota-City General Gymnasium, just five months after Martinez defeated Ioka via unanimous decision in a unification clash at the Ryogoku Kokugikan. This time, Ioka aims to reclaim his former title in a showdown between two seasoned rivals.
